Internal C-FIP Cores

The Center for Firearm Injury Prevention operates with three cores: Community, Dissemination, and Policy. Each team is guided by one Director and focuses on specific initiatives in their area. Core Directors meet regularly to discuss priorities, plan objectives, and ensure cohesive progress across all teams while remaining aligned with the C-FIP vision, mission, and values.

Community: Works in partnership with community organizations to conduct research that meets community needs. Dissemination: Disseminates research findings and highlights our impact through briefs, podcasts, academic conferences, and social media to engage a broad range of stakeholders.

Policy: Provides research evidence on a broad range of policies (e.g., economic, social, health), their implementation, and their impact to support informed decision making on policies and practice.
